This afternoon, you will have time to explore different web-based and shareware/freeware presentation tools, as well as look at a few spaces for storing and sharing presentations.

Our goal for the afternoon is for everyone (either individually or in pairs) to create a short slideshow introducing THREE good ideas for using slideshows in the classroom. Each idea should have a goal, a description, and an initial heuristic for evaluation. You can draw upon presentation assignments you've done or given or seen. You can search the web for good ideas you want to share with others and might want to try yourself. Or you can dream, imagine, and create your own new slideshow assignment ideas.

You can create your three-good-ideas slideshow in whatever slideshow application you like.
